Community Asset Fund – Open!

Sport England’s Community Asset Fund has now opened.

This initiative aims to allow people to regenerate underused spaces within their communities to reintroduce sport to the area.

With thousands of underused spaces in the country from local parks to leisure centres, this fund will help groups put together a bid to bring these areas back up to scratch and allow the community to participate in sport. The fund ranges from £1,000 to £150,000 and is open for stage one applications now.

Whether you own or lease the land or property or not, it makes no difference. Sport England want to get people active across the country and regenerate these underused sites with this new fund.
